Built to be repaired
Every Northstar hardware product can be opened with standard tools. We sell spare parts at cost and publish repair guides online.
Better materials
Our lamps and docks use at least 80% recycled aluminium. Packaging is plastic-free and made from recycled card.
Greener software
Our websites and apps run on hosting powered by renewable energy, and we design for efficiency: fewer bytes, fewer requests, less energy.
We are not perfect. Our goal is to publish a full product life-cycle assessment by the end of next year.
